Vijay Eswaran Dreams of Taking the QI Group to Greater Heights

Vijay Eswaran is a well known businessman based out of Malaysia. He is the chairman of the QI Group that has it’s headquarter in Hong Kong. Born in 1960, he completed he earned his degree in socio-economics from London School of Economics. After his graduation in 1984, he travelled and worked at different companies across Europe

He also learned about binary system marketing and also got a professional certificate in CIMA. He completed his MBA from the Southern Illinois University in the US. It was then he started to work with Synaptics and learned more about multilevel marketing. He then returned to his home country and joined the Cosway Group.

In 1998, he established the QI Group and has its business in many different industries including investments, luxury products, wellness, travel, telecommunications and more. The company also has offices in other major cities around the world like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and others. The company currently serves 30 countries around the nation and work towards expanding their offerings.

Vijay Eswaran comes from a middle-class family and has not forgotten his humble beginnings. When it comes to the employees of his company, he tries to impart one important lesson that he has been taught while growing up and this is ‘service above self’.

Even though he is a leader of a multinational company, he ensures that the soul of the company is that of a small company. He recognizes the importance of hiring skilled, sincere and loyal people to its company because they are the one that helps the company to succeed.

Vijay Eswaran takes out time for philanthropic work and also founded a foundation with the name of RYTHM Foundation. He is also fully dedicated to another Foundation that he set up – Vijayaratnam foundation that runs different community programs. He was also recognized for his dedication to helping the community.

He was named one of the 48 Heroes of Philanthropy in the Sian region by the Forbes Asia magazine in 2011. Again in 2015, he was ranked the 25th position in the Malaysian’s top 50 richest persons. He has also been recognized by the Global Indian Business Meeting for his philanthropic work.
