Frances Townsend was the vice executive of Corporate Affairs in 2006. She is well known for her tenure in a counterterrorism role and her fruitful attempt to stop a terrorist attack. Her efforts working with the White House and the British government were vital in breaking up an Al-Qaeda plot that would have killed thousands of people at multiple locations worldwide.
Between 2004-2008, Townsend served as assistant to president George W Bush for security and counterterrorism. During this time, she also chaired the homeland security council. This speaks volumes over her competence and commitment to service.
Frances was a workaholic who stayed in the office working on intelligence she received. Her highlight is when she uncovered the people involved in the transportation bombs from a cell in Britain. This frustrated the terrorist attack that was put into motion. She worked hard to stop the massive invasion of terrorists on civilians using the Chemical of Satan. Before moving to Activision, she served as vice-chairman, general counsel, and chief administrative officer at MacAndrews & Forbes, Inc. Frances’s expertise in intellectual property law and intelligence service will be a valuable asset to Activision Blizzard. She has a long history in leadership and administration, dating back to her 13 years working at the Department of Justice. Her numerous reward speaks up on her commitment to duty.
